Jung tells the story of Arjun (Mithun Chakraborty), an honest and passionate police officer
who finds himself clashing with his younger brother Ajay (Ajay Devgan), an equally
passionate defense
lawyer, over a possibly innocent condemned man named Ram (Aditya Pancholi)
Assistant Commissioner of Police Arjun Saxena is an honest and diligent police officer.
Although he took up policing as a career, his younger brother, Ajay, has become a defense lawyer,
coming to the aid of several defendants, including criminals arrested by the police, and Arjun himself.
Through his clientele, as well as loopholes in the law, Ajay has become a master at bending the law to
meet his needs. This does not auger with Arjun, and this pits both the brothers against each other.
On the other hand, Ajay believes his client, Ram, is innocent, while Arjun believes that Ram is guilty
and belongs behind bars. And finally, Arjun's honesty has made him a new and powerful enemy in the shape
and form of Chakradhari Choudhry, and the relationship of the two brothers does not get any better, for
Ajay is in love with Madhu, Chakradhari's daughter .
